Well here it is, the very first official issue of the Suwannee Amateur Radio Club Newsletter.
Please keep this in a safe place.  It is sure to become a collector's item.

The new web site is off to a great start.  We have 25 members and almost every one in the club has joined.  I urge everyone to visit the site often and get involved.  A variety of forums on HAM and non HAM related subjects have been created so I hope you take advantage of them. If you have any suggestions on how the site can be improved such as adding or removing forums, etc. please contact me.

If you don't know what a forum is, don't worry.  One of the regular features of this newsletter will be The Tech Corner.   The first Tech Corner (or Corners) will cover the operation and use of the web site.  I know that some people know more about web sites than I do, and other people know absolutely nothing.   I am going to write the Tech Corner assuming that you know nothing about using a web site such as this one.

I encourage all of you who like to write to submit your own articles on using the web site, or operating a HAM radio station, or building an antenna or what ever you think might be of interest to the other club members.
