I guess by now you have heard that I have been elected the president of the club.  You know I was president once before so you all know what to expect.

This weekend we plan to move the repeater to a tower at the Wellborn Fire Department.  They have an unused tower that we are going to put the antenna on temporarily.  It will be a 40 foot tower with a 10 foot mast on top of that.  Wellborn is 195 feet above sea level so that will give us a total of 245 feet above sea level.

Fire Chief Tom Manard, KK4IQZ has given the club a 100 foot tower that will be the final home of the repeater once we tear the tower down, move it to the lot at the Fire Department and put it back up.

We need to thank the Wellborn Fire Dept and Tom for allowing us to do this.
